Comet McNaught

After more than a week of not being able to view Comet McNaught from Melbourne, Australia due to consistent cloud and heavy smoke from the Victoria Bushfires, it finally appeared in all its glory on January 22nd, 2007. Below are a few images that were taken from the shore of Port Melbourne Beach overlooking Port Phillip Bay. The lights are mostly ships in the bay and the large lights directly below the comet's head is a large freighter.
