Sahara 99636

Sahara 99636 was discovered in the Sahara Desert during 1999. This is actually one of the first chondrite slices added to the Meteorites Australia Collection in 2002 but there is still little information available on this stone. It was classified as an L6 chondrite and obviously displays as a beautiful breccia. This Complete Slice is bordered by a thick black, slightly soil-stained fusion crust and weighs 185.2g. It is part of the Meteorites Australia Collection (MA.02.0209).
