Saharan Meteorite with Finder Number
(Mislabelled Meteorite)

The meteorite pictured below is a 187.80g Half Stone with the finder number painted on it. The meteorite "Sahara 00225" which weighs 64g was classified as a rare EL6 and it seems a small number of other stones received an incorrect number which this "00225" specimen looks to be one of. Whatever this piece is, it is still interesting with some unusual inclusions and multiple lithologies present. This meteorite belongs to the Meteorites Australia Collection.
